Content

At the end of the training, delegates should be able to

• State what current legislation requires in terms of fire safety in the workplace
• Understand the most common causes of fire in the workplace
• Understand the principles of fire prevention
• Understand the different types of firefighting equipment, fire alarms and associated equipment
• Know what to do in the event of a fire and on hearing the fire alarm
• Understand of the evacuation procedure in your workplace
