At the end of the training, delegates should be able to

• state what the Law requires
• know about the causes of fire in the workplace
• understand the principles of fire prevention
• understand the different types of fire fighting equipment, fire alarms and detectors
• know what to do in the event of a fire and on hearing the fire alarm
• know of the evacuation procedure in your workplace
