By the end of their training delegates should be able to

• know what hazardous substances are
• understand the Health & Safety framework – COSHH in context
• be aware of the COSHH file – its purpose and importance
• know and interpret the CHEMHAZ symbols
• have an understanding of simple safety steps and careful storage
• raise and report their concerns at work
• understand COSHH as part of Risk Assessment
