By the end of their training delegates should be able to:
- know about the law as it applies to food hygiene
- understand why food poisoning is on the increase
- understand how food may be contaminated and how to prevent this
- know how temperatures affect the multiplication of bacteria
- state some of the possible causes of food poisoning
- state the principles of good food hygiene practice
- put best practice principles into action in their workplace
