At the end of the training, delegates should be able to
- understand what constitutes challenging behaviour
- understand who can present challenging behaviour
- have the skills and understanding to recognise and predict challenging behaviour
- understand and be able to contribute to a risk assessment process
- understand how to respond appropriately to incidents of challenging behaviour
- use simple disengagement techniques
